Rossi represents, what their role is, or how to reach them quickly to ask a follow-up question. To make your consortium feel a little more connected and your workflow a lot smoother, we’ve rolled out a small but highly requested update: Clickable Avatars are now live across AdminProject.
What does this mean for your daily workflow?
Until now, avatars have given you a visual cue of who was doing what. Now, they act as an interactive gateway to your team. By simply clicking on a user’s profile picture anywhere in the system, you will instantly open their profile card.

- In the Activity Stream: Spot a crucial update on your dashboard, like a change in a deliverable? Click the avatar next to the activity, grab the user’s contact details, while the context is still fresh in your mind.
- In Files & Document Management: If someone just uploaded “Final_Report_v3_UPDATED.docx,” you might need to ask them what exactly they changed. Click their face next to the file, to recall who did it – perhaps a familiar face from the last meeting?
- In Discussions and Comments: When moderating a lively debate on the project forum, it helps to know exactly who is speaking. A quick click on a commenter’s avatar reminds you of their organisation and expertise, adding vital context to their feedback.

Make the Most of the New Feature: Update Your Profile!

To ensure your consortium partners can actually reach you when they click your avatar, take a quick minute to complete your profile information. Simply navigate to the top right corner of your screen and click on ‘Profile’. This will open the general tab with the ‘Edit your profile’ view. Here, alongside uploading a friendly photo, you can update your First name and Last name, set your correct Time zone, and provide your e-mail and Phone/Skype details. We also highly recommend using the About me section to briefly describe your specific role in the project. A fully completed profile acts as your digital business card, ensuring that when a partner clicks your face to ask a vital question, all your up-to-date contact details are right there waiting for them!
