Sign in with social network accounts

To make it easier for our users we have implemented a possibility to register and log in with a few popular social networks. There are three main reasons our users might want to log in with external services. Firstly, they’ll have one password less to remember. And secondly, many people are constantly logged in to their Google, Facebook and/or LinkedIn accounts, so getting into AdminProject would be a click away – nothing to type in.

Now, there are three paths you can take to get to your projects.

Path 1: Standard Registration and Login

It is the primary path of creating an account.

You:

1. type in your e-mail on AdminProject’s main page or on Sign-up page
2. wait for the activation e-mail
3. click on the activation link
4. type in your details
5. and you are good to go.

Later, you login in the same way by typing in your username (e-mail address) and your password. Click log in and you are in your project workspace.

Path 2: Social Media Registration and Login

The second path describes a situation where you don’t have an account on AdminProject.

1. Go to the login page, pick a social network of your choice. You should be redirected to that network’s application permission site.

   

   

   

    

2. Confirm the permissions. You’ll be shown which details are obtained and asked to confirm the creation of your account.

   

What details are being sent?

AdminProjects obtains only your first name, last name and email address. No passwords are being sent.

From now on you will be able to get into AdminProject with a single click, as long as you are logged into a respective social network in the same browser.

Path 3: Standard Registration, Social Media Login

The registration follows the same steps as in Path 1 above:

1. Type in your email on AdminProject’s main page or on its Sign-up page and wait for the activation e-mail.
2. Click on the activation link, type in your details and you are good to go.

Logging in with social network accounts is possible if they were created using the same e-mail address. It this is the case we will ask you to confirm access to your details like first and last name, and e-mail address by signing in to Facebook, LinkedIn or Google. We will ask for it only once. From now on you will be able to get into AdminProject with a single click, as long as you are logged into a respective social network in the same browser.
